Biography

Lawrence A. Pasini is the founder of Pasini Law LLC.  Prior to founding the firm, he was a senior executive compensation specialist attorney with Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. Prior to his tenure at Cravath, Mr. Pasini practiced in a similar capacity at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen, & Katz, Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, Shearman & Sterling LLP and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP spanning about 30 years. All of these firms enjoy preeminent reputations globally and are known for the unsurpassed skills of their counsel. Mr. Pasini’s legal talents have put him at the forefront of contract negotiations involving the world’s most influential corporations and their executives and boards of directors.

Mr. Pasini is among the most highly-regarded and well known New York attorneys in the field of executive compensation and employment contract law representing CEOs and executive groups, and has been recognized for multiple years as a leading attorney in America in Chambers & Partners USA. A transactional and deal-making lawyer, Mr. Pasini’s skills at “getting to yes” while achieving outstanding results for his clients are a hallmark of his practice. Mr. Pasini attended Fordham University on a full academic scholarship, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1984 where he majored in Finance at the College of Business Administration. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law, where he also received a full academic scholarship and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the St. John’s Law Review.

Mr. Pasini was a 7-year member of the board of directors of Holy Cross High School, serving as Chairman of their Tenure Committee, and has also served as a volunteer English tutor and guidance counselor for the students of the High School for more than seven years. Mr. Pasini was the 2012 inaugural Recipient of the St. Andre Medal and Award for service as having exemplified the virtue of service.

Married to the former Elizabeth Rutkowski, he and his wife have three adult children.
